KANAVOS ESSENTIAL OIL

Logo design and packaging for KANAVOS essential oils. For the logo we went for a design that refers to historical European house brands. The symbol/monogram of the logo is derived from the veins of the leaves, the drops of oils and the letter “K” of the name KANAVOS. Logo is completed with the name written in a heavy type font for more historicity.

Old botanical book illustrations with vintage lithographs were used for the packaging of the essential oils. Thus we have a Victorian image which, however, is integrated into a more modern context through the layout and the use of contemporary fonts. That results in a present-time, fashionable image for the brand which balances with historicity.
