ANO CRETA honey

Packaging design for ANO CRETA thyme honey. The Anogiannakis family produces 100% Greek honey of excellent quality, from privately owned apiaries in Crete.

For the design, we delved back into time and the history of this blessed island. Inspired by the engraved depictions on the Phaistos disc, we created a series of minimal, stylized symbols of nature, people and their agricultural work as depicted on the disc. Even if thousands of years have passed, the production of honey and its importancein our diet remain standard. The golden symbols are placed in order on a transparent grid, upon the glass container, accompanied by white letters in a modern, sans serif font. The result is the gloryfication of the product itself, framed by a discreet essence of luxury always in a minimal line according to the Greek ancient spirit.
